ABOUT US
Augie Quintero has formed A.J.A. Tanks which repairs tanks and trailers. Augie has 40 years of experience in the tank/trailer repair business. He began his career as a welder in 1979. Eventually he was given more responsibilities with his then employer, Polar Tank. He was designated shop foreman in 1987 and then safety director beginning in 1989. Eventually he was promoted to service manager in 1992. As service manager, his responsibilities included the hiring of employees, estimates for repairs, and inspections.
In September of 2012, Vantage Trailer hired him to develop a service department at their business. With no previous service department, Augie made a success of the Vantage service department. Now, Augie has taken this experience and brought it to his own service company. He has several customers who followed him from Polar to Vantage and now to AJA Tanks, LLC.
The quality of work and the experience he brings to his industry are why he has such loyal customers. Several of his employees, from Vantage, also followed him to his new venture including his shop foreman. In addition to the service department and the sale of tanks and trailers, Augie started a roadside repair division. There is a need for a repair option where a repair can be made on the side of the road or wherever a tank or trailer is located rather than having it towed to a repair facility. AJA Tanks has filled this need and offers this benefit to its customers.
